I grew up in a small town outside of Philadelphia called Furlong. Ever since a young age my parents nurtured my artistic side in everything from drawing, to photography, as well as anything I could create with my hands. During my early teen years my dad gave me his Nikon F which had been his since high school. This started my love of photography. When I entered George School for high school I started taking ceramics classes. I instantly fell in love just from the idea of turning a ball of raw earth into a usable permanent object. Throughout all my life I have also been taking apart things and attempting to put them back together. This mechanical nature can be seen in many of my photographs and recently transferred over to my ceramics which I have been pursuing a BFA in at Guilford College. This year I am working on my senior thesis in ceramics, honing my skills for life after college.
